There is a third choice cyn......cook something at home from scratch. You used to host a thread about What's For Dinner....that is where we became good friends.

I go and try to get my land taxes reduced for senior citizen and limited income this morning. I feel like it should not be a problem but still praying!
Work was difficult last night as it seems I pulled my back while unloading some water I bought at the store yesterday morning. Those cases of drinking water are heavy! Must be more careful.
Hope everyone has a blessed day![/QUOTE]

Glad that you had success with the land taxes!

cases of drinking water are heavy.....my silly mind went....they should have instant dehydrated water powder.....just add water at home for a refreshing drink. that is the crazy way my mind works.

Oh they are heavy! Be careful.

There must be only one land - flood elevation inspector in Alamogordo and he's backed up with work - or...something. Sure thought we'd get the results on what might be our new to us house soon.

I didn't get our taxes quite done - I'm on the second of two state returns needing to be filed for 2017. I'll get them done Saturday or Sunday or ASAP, don't have the energy to do them today or tomorrow after working all night. Work's coming along - lots of repetition will really help with all of the protocols needing to be learned.

Have good Thursday's, people!

It's so costly to cook from scratch for one person elston especially when I don't have much here to even start with! I went to the local Japanese restaurant and got a little sushi! Been craving that.
Hope everyone enjoys their day today!

Good for you, cyn, for treating yourself to some sushi. You deserve to "splurge" a little, every now and then

Thats true.....if you have a stocked pantry.....you can figure out something to cook, with whats on hand....but if you "larder is low" you options are much less.

I hope you enjoyed your sushi cyn! I could make you some miso soup to go with that.

Looks like more rain here later today! At least I don't have to go anywhere unless I want to! Sitting here at home does get to me so a trip to the post office and just a short drive does help to break up the day!
Hope everyone is doing well and have a blessed day!
