Elko.......such wonderful news; I am so happy for you and your wife. ..."There's No Place Like Home".

Cyn.....As you know prevention is better than treatment....so take care of yourself....including nutrition.

Have a good day.

Maybe bring some yogurt and a banana - I guess having a banana after eating yogurt enables more probiotics to act on your system.

If you arent eating enough....then drink an Ensure. I think it might be pricey (?) but you do have to watch that you are getting enough calories......or you will get sick.....and thats no good. Have something ready to eat when you get home.....even if it is just a peanut butter sandwich.....better if it is soup or somethng nourishing. Fix something before you leave for work so there is no prep when you come home tired. (Some of your tiredness could be due to lack of food....calories are energy. Some of us dont need them but you do.

Thanks both of you for caring. Now I have to care for me too. Just stressed the last week or so. I did buy some Boost and Ensure and also some Tropicana Probiotics. It's very good! I have cheese and peanut butter and some soups. I just have to force myself to eat when things are bothering me but with my health issues I have to make myself eat. And I will! But again, thank you for caring! That means the world to me right now!

I always have things like Boost, yogurt, Vitamin Water around. If nothing else, I'll eat Cheerios or oatmeal. I like cheese, too. I recently bought almond butter and smear that on a cracker. It doesn't take much effort. Oh, today I started a pot of 2 day chicken soup and ate some raw carrot and celery. I don't eat enough vegetables and have to cook when I feel up to it. Hopefully, I'll finish the soup tomorrow, but I don't know what tomorrow will bring.

I never thought that I'd end up in these circumstances. Sometimes things just don't go according to plan.

The best thing happened to me today. A major storm is on the way, power will probably go out, and my son drove to my place. His business will be closed tomorrow. I'm not sure what he's going to do, but he gave me a box of peeps. If I could get to your house, I'd bring peeps. We could put them in the microwave and watch them expand. Simple pleasures are the best.

Thanks for reiterating that, elston. We need to look out for each other - I firmly believe that people can be online friends, indeed I do.

You are my friends---thank you!
We had some wicked storms last night with a lot of thunder and lightening and heavy rain/hail! Made for yet another restless nights sleep! But it was over this morning for our morning walk! I will go get my new tires this morning and then work this afternoon....I will be relieved to have good tires!
Hope everyone has a blessed day!

Enjoy your new tires, cyn. They can really help with safety. That poor woman in the Phoenix Metro hit by that Uber self-driving car... that's horrible. I guess it was her fault - she walked her bike right out in front of the autonomous car and it ran right over her.

Drive carefully and have a good work day today. I return to work tonight for my three nights in a row and then, we might close on our house on Monday or Tuesday. All the paperwork might not be ready yet but we are - and our animals sure are. Casper, our Ginger Tom, he's just beside himself here couped up in this apartment. He'll love the yard that house has and it's neighborhood. Hopefully there won't be any animal haters around there with BB guns or pellet guns. Not to worry. He means no harm to humans. Now birds... they're another story altogether!
