Good Morning All.

Wonderful news that all the boys and their coach, in Thailand, have been rescued. Now the doctor and remaining divers...

I saw an article about the coach..... as a boy he lost his entire family and he was raised in a Buddhist monestary (where he was taught meditation). He in turn taught the boys to meditate.....this helped them survive the ordeal in the cave. Namaste Namaste Namaste.....prayerful thanks to the Bodhisattvas who watched over them with compassionate love and guided the workers who assisted their rescue.

Hi cyn and all

We just came home from the vet with McKenzie. That is my old girl who I was told had a large mass in her chest and was referred to a canine oncologist. that was 6 mos ago. We didn't go with tht referral and decided to keep her home and "love her up"....she went thru a period of time of losing weight and seeming weak and unsteady....but on my diet of home cooked chicken rice and veggies....she regained the lost weight and stamina. The vet today didnt say the mass was gone...but she did say that might have been a fatty tumor and lets just count our blessings and go on from there. So we got her her shots and meds and are no longer considering her a cancer patient. I feel so much better......and I think she does too. (She is now eating Fresh Pet....expensive...but she loves it and more importantly....she eats it.

Such a relief.

This is indeed great news, elston! Everyone have a great day, today.

My McKenzie didnt get a "clean bill health" would take lots of testing and xrays etc to know for sure what was going on. I am accepting that after 6 mos post diagnoses she has gained a couple of pounds, shows no distress, and is enjoying her life and family.....so hopefully it was a fatty tumor and nothing more. She isnt a young girl....but oh my....so sweet and loving. She had a look in her eyes when we found her at the humane society that seemed to say....."You won't hurt me would you? You won't let anyone hurt me....would you? Can I come home with you and be your girl? You won't bring back here would you?"

McKenzie found her forever home and we found a forever girl......forever in our hearts.

That is my prayer for every dog or cat in need of a good caring forever home! When we adopt one of our humane society kitties out at the store it fills me with joy and it makes working there good!
