Went to take my mom's meds to her tonight before I left after sitting with her some I told her that I loved her, because she is losing control of her muscles she wasn't able to tell me that she loved me too.
She opened her mouth & wasn't able to get the words out. I told her that I know mom I know...

Sorry needed to put this out there..

You're okay. Take comfort in being there for your mom in her last days. I know it's hard but you are doing the right thing.

I had a similar experience when my husband was dying. He could not speak, but the love was all there in his eyes. I will never forget that look. He knew, just as your mother knew. We all want to say and to hear "I love you" one more time. But if that is how you lived, it was both said and demonstrated many times before. Love is eternal.

Had a similar experience with my mom. The message is sent without the words.

Peace to her, and to you.
