So very sorry for your loss, Maggie. Anything that can wait until tomorrow (or longer) -- let it wait.

Bills can wait...take some time off this tragedy...

So very sorry for your loss. Time is the great healer, allow yourself the time to grieve and to heal. It is overwhelming now, I know, but take it one day at a time. Things will get better.

I am so sorry. I know too well how hard it is to care for someone watching cancer steal them from you, and then you just are so washed out when it is over. My heart breaks for you, because it was difficult on me and it was my sister, not my spouse!

Do you have anyone that can help you with this??? A child, sibling, friend??? DO NOT be afraid to ask for assistance. Your insurance agent should be getting with you and the funeral home has someone that can help guide you with notifications lists and hints.

Prayers for you during this most difficult of times.

Default a prayer for Maggie

Deep breath, deep breath, deep breath.
Normal breath.

O God, thank you for this new day.
Thank you for the rain and the sun, given to all alike, the believer and the unbeliever.

Comfort us when we grieve, I pray you. Consider especially Maggie, held up to you now; give rest to her, ease her suffering, pity her affliction, and be present for her in her sorrow. Let her discover reserves of strength to see her through her mourning.

Let her feel our presence through our words, and magnify our wishes for her peace, a day at a time, and cause her to know that a throng surrounds her, and waits with her.

Be present to her also, when humans cannot be.

Bless her even in this sorrow, and bless indeed all those that take no offense at me.

You have said that when two or three are present in the name, you also will be present. Here and now, O God, be present; sanctify these poor few words, and make them to be a p presence in the night, and a comfort in the day, and may your Grace attend Maggie's going-in and coming-out, from this time forward, forever more.

AMEN.
