Looks like Dad has days if not hours to live, as the family is scattered all over the country and only my brother is there with him i was wondering what the appropriate sympathies would be to fellow family members, should i send all my relatives flowers ?a card? or will a phone call to share emotions suffice?
When Mom passed last year there was a service which i sent flowers,Dad however will have no service

I am so sorry.

What relatives do you mean? His siblings? Your siblings? His grandchildren? Nieces & nephews?

Since I am assuming that you will be grieving, too, as his child, probably just a phone call would be best. Possibly later send letters to other close relatives, sharing a memory.

I would think that the other relatives would be trying to comfort you, his child.
