I say to myself you are free, go somewhere but I don't know where to go, I'm not afraid of being alone or anything like that, I just feel like I'm paralyzed or something like that.
I am so sorry

You are not alone in this feeling. There is a great deal of shock in grief. Do not feel that you are wrong in some way if you just have to take time to feel this feeling. It is part of it. At some point you will start to feel like you want to be more active. I am so grateful for my son, who made me eat when I just wanted to sit and stare into space, and to my sister, who would come over to my house and gently push me out the door to take a walk. Some times you have to be reminded that life is still there. But it will get better. The change is hard to see at times, but we do adjust, we do heal.

The first year is the worst. I thought my grief would never end. There are still moments of sadness but there are also good memories that come through now. It takes time.
