I work during the local one nearby. Has anyone found an online real time support group that I can "attend"?

I have never looked for one, but your local hospice facilities might be able to help or the library might have resources to share with you.

Widowed Village
Widowed Village

I frequent the site and the people are really great. Very supportive of each other.
One thing they do is verify you actually are a widow/widower and you are who you say you are, so you will have to give some pertinent information to sign up. Its not a big deal but nice to know everyone on the site is legit.

I'm not a widow. My grandma died but she was pretty much my mom. I'm having a hard time.

Aw, sweetie, I am so sorry for your loss. A beloved mom or grandmother, either way, the loss is hard. I found when I lost my mama when I was in my 30s (over 20 years ago), that the way I looked at life changed profoundly. It was almost like the change was at a molecular level. I have never been the same. However, the pain doesn't remain so acute though. It does get better. Had I not lived that truth myself, I would have never believed it. Many hugs to you, dear, and I hope you find a group or a trusted friend with whom you can share your grief. *Hugs*
