The short answer is, YES you WILL feel better - eventually. But not automatically.

If you are a Christian, find a good pastor to talk to. Most of them are highly educated and experienced in these matters. (You might find this helpful even if you aren't a Christian). If not a pastor, find a counselor. You'll be surprised how helpful they can be.

Just don't expect to heal immediately. This will be a long process - at least several years.
