Your mom sounds like she was an amazing woman who lived an amazing life who touched many people.

She may be gone but I guarantee her legacy and influence will go on for a long time.

Just think about the number of people your mother touched and lives she made better.

I'm so sorry. She knew all of your tiniest idiosyncrasies and this was sudden. Try to be strong for your dad. He's the one that will be alone ( even though he has been for awhile)

My condolences to you and yours. I don't know you, but I have been where you are now. In a lot of ways I'm still there but I've pulled myself up by my bootstraps and tried to carry on. So will you.

Talk to your family and friends whenever you need to. Be honest with them and yourself about your feelings. Survival mode will get you through the early stages as you adjust to the new reality, but be careful it doesn't become your default setting.

When they go they take so much with them. They take a part of you with them. There are things they know about you that NOBODY, not even you, knows. When I lost my mom some years ago, I became numb. Nothing mattered to me anymore, not even my own family. That feeling, sadly, is still with me.

Oh dear heart...

Sometimes life is just.plain.unfair.

She gave you many gifts... and she saw yours.

We miss our mothers when they leave.

My heart goes out to you.

My condolences. Lost mine a few years ago. Another wild great women. What you have to do is pick up the flag and carry it proudly forward. To outdo your mother is the goal. Charge...

And remember her. It always helps me when it is not going right.
