I knew going into this year that I would more than likely lose 3 people who mean the world to me. My in laws are both very ill even though they are still getting around quite well. My MIL is in the final stages of kidney failure and my FIL has been told there is nothing else they can do for his heart. He takes an awful lot of nitro these days.

My oldest and dearest friend passed away on Thursday April 20th. She has had Parkinson's for the last 14 years and been in a nursing home for the last 7. I live 500 miles away from "home" but every time I have been there I have stopped in to see her. She has gotten me through some of the very worst days in my life. She was the a wonderful, mother, grandmother, and friend anyone could ask for. I expect there to be a ton of people at her funeral.

Death is always hard and this one is not easy but I am blessed to have loved her and to have had her in my life for the last 25 years. I pray that she felt the same about me. Love it is ALWAYS worth it.
