Hi everybody,
I went to high school with this one girl and she lost her husband in a motorcycle accident this week.It was way before his time.I think they had at least one young child.I feel sad and sorry for her and the families.Thanks for the support everybody during this hard time.Thanks in advance.

I suggest sending a sympathy card to the widow. Most people do really appreciate receiving such notes, as it reminds them that other people do care and are supportive. Of course, it will not change the tragedy of the situation, but it might be a little comfort. I think that sending your condolences also makes you feel that you have done something helpful, at a time that you can do little else to help.

That's really sad. The worst thing that will happen is that all of their friends will drop her. I've seen that happen over, over, and over again.
