You have done exactly what was needed for yourself and those you lost! You cared! That is so special. After 2 1/2 years I'm still troubled at the loss of my husband and he fought to stay alive but he had ALS and it always wins! I wore myself out, tore my body apart trying to honor his wishes to beat this demon..and I did it alone up to the very end. He'd have done the same for me. You are a good kind person who cares so pat yourself on your back! They were so very fortunate to have you in their lives! Take it one day at a time!

I didn't get as far along as I hoped I might in the whole thing. It's harder than I thought. I called my doctor and we talked for a while and she gave me a list of people who are local therapists. I can't argue with the reality but still cant get around simple sadness.

Grief comes in waves. You're such a great friend so full of compassion. It's so hard to stop wondering what we could have done or said... All we can control is us. People do what they want.

I can't understand not recognizing how amazing life is but that's just me. I'm so thankful for my life.

A good therapist is a gift! You may go through several before you find the right one for you but once you find one you can connect with they can be so helpful--at least for me it has been!

I am sad for you. I hope you get back to your life soon enough. I had a good of mine who committed suicide few months back but I am still confused to mourn over or not. Turned out he was threatening her girl friend on a web cam by faking the suicide (rope over ceiling fan) and accidentally the chair tripped and he died. I am still in a saddened and angry situation.

I am sorry. You touched their l7ves, and they touched yours, and sometimes that is just enough to cause pain.

I am pretty sure I don't know and may never know the truth regarding the young friend. the other guy just wanted out and didn't want to talk about it. I don't know what to feel other than someone is missing.
