I been a paralegal since 2006 and I love what I do. I am new to this group so hello to everyone. I just moved to NOVA Norher Virginia, and I am making great money in DC! If you are a Paralegal and live in a small town or city like places in Connecticut! get out if you want to make money. I went from making in the low 30k's to now making in the low 50k's!! Just a little advice. Good luck to anyone becoming a Paralegal..

hi, i have a question and seeing if someone could clear up for me. I want to take my child out of our current school and transfer him to another school. Do I have to let our current school know where i am taking him to or can I just obtain his school records and give them to his new school?

charinitoa1 - Just tell the judge your story and that your mother was in immediate danger and the situation was life threatening and ask for leniency.

I would really appreciate any advice anyone can give me regarding finding employment as a paralegal in Orlando/Tampa Florida. I am an English lawyer with 17 years experience but I appreciate that is not going to be relevant to a US law firm. I have been told Florida is saturated with paralegals and I would be better to look for a position as a clerk. Although i think i would really enjoy the work of a clerk, i am not sure i could survive on the low salary. any advice would be much appreciated
