asperger autism

Hi, everyone I am 52years old, I was born in South Korea, our family moved in state when I was 16years old. I am living with my husband and 24years son ho has aspergers, both of our familys live outside of Chattanooga, I am looking for help and true friends who could spend time with us. We have had spend least 5years or longer for us to find out he has aspergers, we knew he has ADHD when he was 6years old. It's been a vary hard years for me, as mom.

Hi everyone, just found this site today. Posted a message in the relocating group. This group is one that I am interested in also as I have a 27 year old daughter who stills lives with us. She is high-functioning Aspergers with some other mental difficulties. She is very intelligent, creative, but has poor social adaptation. She had a job once but quit after a couple of months when it got boring for her. I know how hard it is to raise a child with any type of Autism. Maybe we can lead each other some support.

My son is high functioning autistic and is currently integrated in the second grade in a wonderful school Jefferson County, Shelton Elementary. However in looks as though we will be moving to the Colorado Springs area in the summer. Does anyone have any advice on the area I should be looking at?

Hi, i was curious if anyone could please help me find out which school district is good for my son who is aspergers. Trying to relocate but need information. He is 8yrs old and is in mainstream education, he also is ADHD/ADD High Anxiety,OCD.

My son has finally being diagnosed, he is 27 years old, and I want to know about other adults with autism... How do they fare with job searching, if they qualify for SS benefits, etc.

I have a 2 year old son who wa given a medical diagnoses of Austism when he was 1 yr and 6 months.. i have alot of questions and concers.. considering he will be 3 this yr and starting school i am trying to look for a school for children with autism in the killeen austin area! so if you can help me or know anyone who can please let me know! thank you!
