Hola my boricua brothers and sisters. I'm so excited we have our own representation on City-Data.com. Mi mami is from Mayaquez and mi papi from Bayamon. I live in Charlotte, NC and love it. The Puerto Rican numbers are growing slowly here but surely. #3 in Latino population growth so I'm excited. Need a good Puerto Rican restaurant over here so if any of you are good cooks and want to open a restaurant come to Charlotte. We need you! I'm also a Spanish-speaking Charlotte Realtor so if you need information about this beautiful city let me know! God bless my fellow Boricuas!

Hi, I am a 48yr old "NewYorican". I love my Puerto Rican heritage. We spent almost all our summers in Santa Isabel and Coamo when I was growing up. Because I look IRISH I never told my american friends of my heritage. I always hate when people say to me, oh, you don't look PR. Now that I am older, I am wiser. My only regret is that I haven't been to PR in 15yrs and I don't know anyone anymore--very sad. I wish I still had close family there.

I was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y. Served four years in the Air Force. Worked in hotel management for over 35 years. Took early retirement this year. Have a Florida real estate license and would like to work for a real estate brokerage company that specializes in Foreclosures and REOs, especially with Realtors and Investors who own properties. Presently live in South Florida but thinking about moving to Orlando, where there are as many puertoricans THERE, as there are cubans in Miami. I welcome any and all comments from latin and non-latins in Florida.
