Thank you for the invite! I am a lapsed, lost Catholic, and not sure what I believe anymore. God exists, no doubt at all, and my upbringing is reflected in subjects I feel passionately about i.e abortion..to name but one. I yearn to belong to a Christian community again. To go to Mass and pray, sing the beautiful hymns from my childhood that have always touched my heart. To find my Father again. Thank you so much.

I always wondered why Protestants have such a misunderstanding of Mary. We can tell them til we are blue in the face that we do not worship her but they still insist we do. My theory is the devil will not let that rumor go away. He hates Mary. I have a statue of Mary standing on the snake, crushing his head. I guess Protestants do not get the whole concept.

Another cradle Catholic here! My name is Virginia and we all know the root of that name. It was also passed down from my great-grandmother and my grandmother, neither of whom I had the pleasure of knowing. I am the youngest of 5, born and raised in KCK. My parents loved their Faith and so do I. Thanks for the invite. We all need to pray for our country and an end to the destruction it is undergoing. So what does this group do?

I am an ex-Lutheran. I became a Catholic just before I got married since my wife was Catholic and I wanted my kids to have a unified faith. Thanks for starting the group. This board reminds me of my area in the country. About 3% of the posters are Catholic.

Not sure why we are called cradle Catholic. I know it means since baptized as a baby but it seems kinda silly to me. LOL Anyway I want to join. Thanks.
