Having carried a weapon CC and OC since 1989 I carry .38 or 357 up to a 44 magnum. I was once issued a Glock and had so many problems I turned it back in and returned to my trusty revolver. I will carry it with confidence.

I have used it to save my life in the past and will continue to do so today. Many folks scoff at having only six rounds but after shooting all these years [and yes, sometimes under extreme pressure] six rounds in a weapon can be as deadly as 10 or 15 or whatever.

You decide what you want try them all out get to know whateve weapon you choose, it will be your close friend and maybe your lifesaver.

I'd say for a concealed carry weapon, it would be hard to beat a .38 short-barrelled revolver. Maybe a .357/.38 if one can conceal it, since it will be heavier and bulkier. But if the .38 snub was good enough for Sgt. Joe Friday, it's good enough for me.

Picking out a concealed carry rig can be as daunting as picking out the gun. Have you given it any thought? If you go cheap don't be surprised if the print of the gun shows through your shirt.

Why did you feel the need to point that out?

I was wondering the same thing..

Before I go to the gun store I'd like some opinions on what handgun would be a decent first gun to carry around.
I would like to get started on my CCW process as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance

That seems to be his personality, I don't think he can help it.

You just busted a man full of dookie? I'm not sure I would admit that.

There is a difference when some one disagrees with you and being talked down too. But it's obvious you cannot figure that out.

Yes, because you have never talked down to anyone in any thread....

Uh oooooo, tell us why he talked bad about you?

You are failing....and very bad....but failing to you must mean you are doing good....so keep it up...

This is going to be very fun to continue....
