Tactical .22's
I've never been much into rifles but decided I wanted to get a 22 for the sole purpose of some fun, cheap trigger time. I was looking at the Ruger 10/22 until in my research found the tactical 22 category. After much research I'm picking up a Sig 522 tomorrow and have an inexpensive red/green dot sight in the mail. Compared to my .380, 9mm, and .40's this'll be an absolute bargain to shoot.
Anyone else have one?

I have an old Anschutz/ Savage 164 Sporter. They call it "The Cadillac of .22's". I can drive tacks with it at 100 yards

Cool, but it's not a tactical 22.

Several years ago, before there was much on the market, I purchased a Tactical Solutions upper to put on a Colt 6920. Also have a drop in CMMG conversion kit.

Couple of years ago I was looking at a .22 clone of a Heckler & Koch MP5. It was said you could remove the sliding stock from a airsoft clone use it on the .22 clone and it worked well.

I have the 556 Classic. I like it... a lot. Never shot (or even hears of) the .22 version though

I don't but my son has a Bushy's in .22, .223, and .308. In his case the .22 is cheap practice. The only tactical gun I have is a Browm Bess, unless you count AK clones. (evil grin)

Beauty of a weapon. With some large mags you could hold off quite a few zombies for a long time with out having to spend money on the more expensive Tactical Rounds. 223, 308 etc..
No Tactical 22s for me just my 50+ year 22s old bolt action peep sight Grandaddy specials that I learned to kill small mammals out to 200 yards with back in the day. As a matter of fact I just had the 22s w/furniture out at the range the other day after about 15 yrs off and its amazing how good my eye sight was back when I was younger. Now I know why I use scopes.

I must have the only Ruger 10/22 in America that's still in the original configuration. The large variety of tac toys one can modify these neat little shooters with is simply amazing. Saw one company online that is making a double Gatling Gun based on two Rugers.
After buying this one new for $50 about 35 years ago, I added a scope base to it:

Mine is still in original configuration. I do have a set of tech sights to put on it though. Just haven't gotten a-round-tuit yet.
