I used to have a nice little collection, until they all went into the mississippi a month ago on my canoe trip.

Yeah, but that's mostly because I buy 1-2 new ones a year now. Last one was a year ago last month, I'm probably getting another one at the June show.

What kind of 12 gauge O/U did you get? I've been eye-balling those for a while. I want one, but it's not in the budget for this year.

No biggie on the O/U - a Brazilian factory owned by Benelli - great field gun that I won't cry over if I get it scratched/dirty in the field.

Nice. I was looking at the Stevens 512 Goldwing by Savage. It usually goes for about $600. As you are probably aware, that is cheap for an O/U. I figure it is so for a reason. It's a good looking gun, and inexpensive so it's something that I don't mind getting a few cuts and bruises. But I've also heard of guys having problems with the firing pins on those as well. Mixed reviews all around, really. Some really positive, a few not so much. Perhaps you can share your thoughts on that specific make/model if you are familiar with it?
