Probably modified to fire only blanks and cycle normally.

I have seen listing for a barrel, recoil spring and blank ammo for Glocks. Perhaps that is why so many cop shows, Glocks are common. There is also requirements that prop guns are incapable of firing live rounds. A local wild west tourist trap (Ghost Town in Maggie Valley) got in trouble this year for using revolvers that could actually fire a life round.
