Orange county is pretty populated however I heard orange county is more conservative vs LA county. Too bad. I had an Indiana CCW. Very easy to get.

Buying guns in Indiana is very easy too. Go to the store they do a quick background check and you are out in 15 min no gun limit. There was once a guy who bought 15 guns. I also once bought 10,000 .22LR rounds in one purchase no problem..

Indiana is more Republican than Texas haha

Well, I tried to register to Cal Guns and for whatever reason I cannot post. I did the activation on the email, etc, etc.....anyways I looked at Orange County's sheriff website for CCW and I'm surprised to see they don't require a few ounces of my semen as well just for verification purposes.

I'm just going to write off getting one all together. The process is very burdensome and expensive. I mean the worst case scenario is that I get shot up and don't have my gun, so it's not really a big deal.

If you can't figure out the first maybe the second isnt such a good idea.

The Orange County Sheriff has come in big issuing CCW since the Peruta decision. Same as my county of San Joaquin as well. Helps that there was a huge election for Sheriff and we used that to push the CCW agenda.

2013- Handful of CCW's in my county approved.
2014- Is on track for hundreds

"The Orange County Sheriff has come in big issuing CCW since the Peruta decision."

Very good news.

Re: "The Orange County area is very conservative compared to the LA County area."

The LA Metro Area is more conservative than you might think. San Diego even more so.

California's real problem is in the North; where the Berkeley-Oakland-Sacramento Axis dominates state policy. It seems to be a problem endemic to the West Coast; up here in the PNW, the wingnuts in Seattle and Portland lead Washington and Oregon around by the nose.

Lol. In Indiana I just filled out paperwork, went in and got thumbprint ed and paid and that was it.

Either one of 2 thing happened

1. You got your CCW (which I did)
2. You got denied and got a refund.

Real easy. Lol. Good case statement, training, ....haha wtf. ...I will monitor closely but at this point I'm not eager to try and get one. CA does not recognize my Indiana CCW
