A buddy bought two quads so we'll be hunting some area that was off limits before due to how far back in it is.

Last week for bow for my tag. Pulling stands and moving them quite a ways to use for rifle. I have a Buck tag and wouldn't ya know it, two Does doing the river dance under my stand for 30 min. The smaller one was crazy, jumping around zooming off to come rocketing back in for no reason but just to do it I guess.

Gotta love him. My Doctor shot a cow elk, 20 minutes into season with his bow. Last year he got a 6x6 on. opening day with his bow. Gotta respect the man. Also, he's a good doctor.

Going to northeastern Montana next week (Thursday) for the first week of pheasant. Little town called Westby. A group of about 6-8 go every year. This year a few of us (me included) will hunt ducks and geese in the a.m.- pheasant in the afternoon.

I look forward to this every year.

This weekend I'm going to go out elk hunting (bow) Sunday. Got a good read on two herds, so we'll be in the general vicinity.

Did you take it with your bow? I spent all morning assembling a 175 lb crossbow, with scope, this morning. Damn, I hope I can take my deer with one shot, I don't think I can **** it twice. hahahaha

Yah- bow shot. Sitting still. Far cry from a roast elk dinner though, ha-ha.

Went out hunting last night. Haven't seen any deer in a couple weeks in my area (think they've gone nocturnal). But I did have a flock of turkeys stroll past my blind. Muwahahahahahahahahahahahahahah! Now there are turkey parts in my fridge.
