Can we just push that cesspool of a state into the ocean and be done with them?

Unfortunately, many of them are moving elsewhere to escape but dumb enough to bring their idiotic ideas and agendas with them and will pollute the rest of the country

I'm sorry, but location doesn't make a spit of difference on commenting on a thread. Maybe the person Libes there now, or lived there previously, makes n difference. If you don't want. comments from people elsewhere, post it in the California Forum and ask that only residence respond.

I am glad it's being discussed. I was concerned about this type of thing, Nannyism, moving back to CA and here we go. No water usage, no plastic bags, make sure to recycle, where's your Prius, and now take away my 2nd amendment rights.........I will re-evaluate in a year.

The real irony is I need a concealed weapon in parts moreso than Denver, and that is next to impossible too..........ok enough of my rant.

Perhaps I wasn't being clear, ElkHunter, and for that I apologize. I don't wish to limit the conversation to Californians. I just want the posters to clarify their own states of residence so as to add a little perspective to the discussion. Someone who lives in Nevada, for example, may have a considerably different viewpoint from someone who lives in Illinois, or New York, or Alabama. I think it would help to know such things.

"close relative"

No doubt the law will be clarified to include anyone who knows the individual. After all, there will no be domestic partners, live-ins and everyone else wanting to be included and "protected".

Soooooo, if I follow THIS latest California mindset correctly, one has to simply allege they don't feel safe for no particular reason and the accused is denied any due process and the guns are simply confiscated???

Okay, then wouldn't it be logical to say, confiscate an Aunt's knitting needles because you are uncomfortable? Or, if a will doesn't go your way, perhaps you feel uncomfortable with the truck your brother drives and therefore, you should confiscate that as well?

How about knives? Butter knives too? Forks? Spoons? Rolling Pins? Your Nephew's T-Ball bat? How about tent stakes? Those could hurt someone. Butane Grills? Pepper Spray....whistles....grandma's dentures....you know, weapons of opportunity....might also want to expand, but not limited to; any alcohol, weed...makes uncle festus paranoid and therefore, unpredictable? Oh wait, exception on that....

Okay, how about your dad's drill? At least his drill bits? bowling balls? They could hurt someone....tire irons? screwdrivers? Soldering Irons? Erector Sets? Kid's cap gun?

I mean, if you are uncomfortable that should be cause enough...come to think of it, my neighbor's daughter has no breasts...she's very flat...it makes me uncomfortable...I think we should either force her to get some like the rest of the boob jobs in California or, make her move....after all, I'm not comfortable.

Mr. Brown?

I was forced to live in California for 22 years, (Military orders) and am very familiar with their laws. My brother is anFFL dealer in Southern Cal. So a person can not assume by their location showing in the profile, that they are obliviouse to the laws and conditions there.

I guess I'm still not being sufficiently clear, so I'll just withdraw from this thread.

Regards to all.
