Not much will change. Much of the pressure against firearms ownership comes from career politicians, those in jobs they get through appointment or favor and they sit their for the remainder of the working careers as impediments to individual rights, on many fronts.
What really needs to happen is for a status state like California to see a change in the basic premise that firearms ownership is a privilege. If the right to firearms ownership was strengthened in a state like California that would really help establish a better foundation throughout the country. The reality though is that most people have given up on California, this is obvious for the NRA and the common way of dealing with it is to move to another state. No one ever won anything by running away. It does take sacrifice and not just on battlefields in other countries but in your neighborhood, your town and city.
Get California back to some semblance of acknowledging and supporting individual rights when it come to firearms ownership and every other State will have a much easier time of it too.
How many times have you heard something like "oh, thats in California"? Well, news flash, start looking at what is starting to happen in states where lots of the people from California migrate to like Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. It starts slowly but every chip in the rights in those states add up.
One of the biggest risks now faced is complacency. Thinking that because Republicans have won both sides of the House will mean that a couple of years will go by as people relax and then the pendulum will swing the other way again. It always does.
Some shipping restrictions relating to hazardous materials apply when ordered that way, and this makes it more expensive. I just reload what I need, and every now and then buy a box or two of ammo. Reloading is not really cheap these days, but is still cheaper than factory ammo.
Yep, I've shipped to Alaska before. I bet Hawaii is even worse.
The gun grabbers are never gone. They are ravenous and will not stop until we are like the UK and France on gun ownership. Now is the time to stack them guns, ammo and mags cheap and deep.

If I owned a gun shop, I'd advise people not to worry.. the grabbers will *never* have the stones to try for another ban, etc.
Then, I'd sell my $8 magazines for $40 & my $499 AR's for $2500 when the next round of ban-talk hits.
