It might sound silly, but recently I wondered just how much led I have where I shoot on private property. We've been shooting in the same place for many years. Even family members before I was alive used to target shoot there. Never did pay much thought to how toxic the ground might be. I imagine there's probably a hundred pounds of led there or better.

Well, lead comes out of the ground in the first place - or so one of my grandpas (a lead miner in SE Missouri) told me decades ago.

The antis only win when freedom fighters let them win. The new most recent events at the polls should help control that some. The NRA can only do so much as they see it worth their time and funds to pursue certain things. The people need to put the effort in on their own for free as well. If someone is trying to take your rights away, let them know how you feel about it. If they won't walk....you walk them! That's how it goes in the school of hard knocks and busted knuckles. Be belligerent and blunt if you have to. Many of these brain dead mouth breathers need the extra thumb to persuade them...... BACK OFF!
