Bump fire is cool, but that's about it......

Personally I can't see spending hundreds of dollars on something that is A.) Cost prohibitive to operate, and B.) has no practical use whatsoever. Even in a SHTF scenerio, I can't see much advantage to having this over a standard semi-auto.

I'd LOVE to try it once or twice, but that would be the end of it. It's a novelty more than anything else.

The last thing I want is a rifle, who's primary operation, is to hold it loosely so it jumps around in your arms, in order to properly operate. There is no practice application for bump fire. I'll bet it was developed by ammunition manufacturers. haha

Oh, and C.)... can be accomplished with a standard setup with no special stock, with a little practice.

If it gets banned, that bump fire you put away becomes worthless and a liability if you try to use it or sell it.

The logic behind buying it to put away in case it is made illegal is like buying heroin as an investment. A good idea when you're using the product, not so much if you don't.
