The new "less lethal" rounds. Here we go again.

Looks pretty silly to me. Don't forget people have been killed by guns firing blanks. Didn't Brandon Lee, Bruce Lees son die like that.


Why doesn't someone come up with a bullet that loads just like a real one does and when it is fired it opens up in flight and delivers a punch.
Picture a .40 bullet cross cut so it will open like flower petals when fired, double or tripling in diameter as it goes to its target. It will deliver a blow and might penetrate the skin but not as travel as deep as a conventional bullet which can tear up vital organs.

Or the Police could go on using their regular bullets and continue to take down these thugs who give the police no choice and they act like they want to be shot.

I have an idea. Instead of designing a bullet or projectile that is less lethal, let's make. them more lethal. Let's convince the bad guy that it is not nice to threaten others well being. This whole thread is how to make a bullet that is more politically correct. What are we thinking? Make bullets that kill, maybe people will wake up and pay attention.

There is no such thing as less lethal anymore than there is something like less pregnant. Reminds me of all the ads for various drugs, take this for yada yada followed by lengthy advisement of how it can also kill you. Seems the only people who can say exactly what they mean these days are terrorists.
