Ferguson police explore 'less lethal' gun attachment - Feb. 5, 2015

I don't know about you but aside from all the other faults, trying to slide this over the muzzle of a ready to fire pistol is an accident waiting to happen.

That this would go beyond a single hour of testing by any law enforcement agency is astounding and nothing short of negligence. What firearms instructor would tolerate such a device on the range after seeing how it is to be used?

I watched the video where someone was calling out "less lethal/lethal" and could only hope that the people involved sought psychiatric help afterwards.

Were I the Watch Commander on duty, I would have ordered an immediate cessation of this activity, sent the vendor packing and then ordered the Rangemaster to accept remedial training unless they had no choice but to go along with that charade.

Now as to how I really feel about it. It is dangerous to everyone.

Inevitably....someone will be killed by one of these things. Then wait for the lawsuits. The police will be accused of being careless---as if they'd be more willing to shoot someone with it than a regular bullet. Maybe they will be...I don't know.

anything strong enough to stop a 300 lb man is strong enough to kill him.

What a STUPID idea. Maybe we should just pull out our phasers and set them to stun!

The perps have the real deal while the cops are using pepper spray.

Maybe they have a new "less shocking" Taser in the plans. It uses 2 penlight batteries and lights a bulb on the end of the Taser. The perp sees the light, pretends its a Taser, and falls down.

No wonder we have never seen aliens on Earth. They are having a hard time finding intelligent life.

STOP, Or I'll shoot you with a orange ball!!!....Once.........

Why not issue 12 gauge doubles, and make shells that shoot Tampons? Would probably leave a welt.
