I had to sell some guns during the recession. I sold my BAR and 7400. I had them both for a long time and had very good experience with both. I looked for a BAR and it was crazy money what people are getting. Just like the Anaconda I paid 500 for sold for 1k thinking it was crazy money and now they go for 2k. I did keep my Colt king cobra that I paid 200 for and they are going for 1700. Crazy. I looked at the 7400 and found a beauty made in 1980. The 7400 first came on sale in 80 to 81 and was discontinued in 2004. Seller is asking 450 for it in 3006 in 95plus percent condition. I called Remington and checked and the serial number does indeed put it at Sept of 80 DOB.

This gun gets a bad rap from some, but I had never had any problem with mine. I liked the detachable mag better than the internal of the BAR. Does anyone have any experience with a 7400?

I've got one and love it. It will sometimes jam but it's never cost me an animal.
