My friend in Billings is horsing around with it, so I'll have him look at it and get me the number off it.
I'll get it back during bird season. Or at least I better, lol.
Hey that shooting in the photo was at that outdoor range south of town. Blue Creek? That is a NICE facility! I'm going to have to spend some money on clays there!

The Billings Rod and gun club has a very active sporting clays group. Membership not required to shoot the course on weekends, I believe.
Are you sure that's a 4"? Looks an awful lot like a 3".
That's what I thought too. Gave my 4" Model 13 to my oldest son 20 years ago. The 3" is a highly desirable K frame (the 4" too, but 3" ones command a premium over its longer brother).
I like single action revolvers, and have a USFA SAA in .45 Colt (4 5/8 in. barrel). It's a nice shooter too, and beautifully made.
They certainly are - and were made under the Blue Dome in Hartford after Colt moved into their new digs. The USFA values (especially the later "all-American" made ones) are comparable with the 3rd Generation Colts and are prized by the Pony collectors & shooters.
Ticked off a lot of those folks when the USFA owner dropped the SAA line several years back without notice and started making some oddball stuff.
