not always. the lower could just be a 3 hole lower vs a 2 hole lower and just have the guts of a standard semi AR-15.

I have 2 3 hole lowers that came like that from the person I bought them from.

Anything with a restricted rollmark is worth more.

This is implied. There are many examples of items that are worth more because they have specific markings.

Someone paying twice the price is probably not looking for a beater. I am going to assume most of the ones purchased for twice the price are going to be safe queens.

Personally, I would not pay 10 cents more the LEO ONLY roll mark.....

By the same token, I don't it detracts from the value....

I'd say it is of neutral appeal.

Please...please...please....

Check with BATFE. IMMEDIATLY!

The possession of a lower receiver that has been machined to accept the full auto part, particularly the auto sear.

IS CONSIDERED A MACHINE GUN...regardless of what parts are currently installed.

If caught they will put you in a room for a VERY long time.

THIS IS A SERIOUS MESSAGE..... Don't just blow it off.

The FEDs really don't have a sense of humor about these sort of things.

Its not worth a thin US dime. I have several mags that I will trade anyone for the same mag that does not have the Military or law enforcement only on it. I would not pay a dime extra and personally would take the one that did not have it over the same exact gun that did have it. Stupid people paying for stupid things.

You are correct, if the hole for the sear is there and the gun has all AR15 parts not capable of firing full auto you still have a restricted machine gun lower that is not even able to be owned if its not in the pool and if you don't have a class three stamp for it to your name. Its one of those bury it and don't think about it unless its zombie apocalypse time.
