Then you simply let them have their corner somewhere in the house. Get them a mouse once a month or so. Some milk.
Put nice signs "House guarded by King Cobra" and let visitors and pals know that you have one (guess, who tips baddies that you have something of value to take from you?) so that they "don't get the idea".
Snake will let baddie in. Wait a little bit. Then send him to his ancestors, in very painful manner.
Then you do not have holes in walls to patch after all the wonderful shots fired and you "get the reputation".
Funny stuff!
But we have a bunch of relatives that come not-very-often, and I like some of them!

I don't think it matters much exactly what kind of gun is used. Poke a few holes in most folks and they will either fall down or go away. I wouldn't care which. So I keep our trusty ol' Ruger single six convertible on hand. It'll do.

The second amendment was written, I believe, to enable The People to defend themselves from The Government, so I encourage every adult to keep and maintain a firearm in their home. As I have grown older, I view the right to keep and bear, as more of a responsibility to keep and bear....
