My big error in that circumstance was that I'd just returned from overseas and had failed in situation management. I made errors that I would not have made just a few weeks earlier. By the time the errors had compounded to the point of making the attack feasible, carrying would have made little difference.

But OTOH, had I been carrying, that factor alone would probably have prodded me to maintain situation management. The extra weight is a constant reminder.

By "situation management" I'm talking about more than situational awareness, but going to the concept of evaluating each situation tactically and positioning oneself at all times to have tactical options if not tactical advantage.

ScoPro, touched on the answer but did not finish.

Generally speaking (with few exceptions), most .32 ACP pistols are also available in the more potent .380 cal..

So, this brings us to the point where many have come before.....

Why buy a pistol in the smaller caliber when the identical platform is available in the larger, and more potent caliber.

Exactly, and there's a reason why Ruger doesn't offer a .32 ACP version of the good little LCP.

what a silly idea that this is a good round. Read Cooper. shoot something with it then shoot something with a .45. watch what happens. Jeez, a 9mm is too small except for a BUG
