Has anyone stopped going to gun shows? And maybe replaced shopping with shopping on line? I have had a bad experience finding sellers that are not asking stupid high prices at gun shows. Not saying I never find a deal but they seem to be getting harder to find. Then it costs me 12 bucks or more to just get in the door. With that and the gas its my transfer fee. If you throw in tax I am about even for shipping or saving. I can shop on line find what I want and many times get an inspection period. I have given up on Gunshows unless I am board and want to kill an hour and look at it like going into a museum where I will not buy much.
Yup. Passed on going to the last two local shows. Nothing I wanted to buy, and anything that I had an interest in purchasing was too expensive. I'm to the point where I'm on the hunt for reloading supplies, and there isn't much of that at gun shows. Now . . . when I visit Montana, they have a pretty good show in Bozeman. Free parking, low entry fee, no sales tax. The only thing on my wish list is a .45LC Henry Big Boy, and I'll probably get that on-line because not many shops stock Henrys.
