Oooh, I’ve got friends that have that, and love it. I keep thinking about upgrading my old Pact, but haven’t got around to it yet.

You need to measure OAL for the brass. I have not found that straight walled cases tend to "grow" much, but, measure.

Roll crimp on revolver rounds like .38, .357, .41, .44 and taper crimp for 9mm, .45, etc. are a different deal.

I did a sampling OAL on the brass and there is a variation between head stamps. I think I'll roll with separating the brass by manufacturer and see what happens.

Since my plinkers are plated bullets with no cannelure, taper crimping will be my first test. Berry's cautions against a heavy roll crimp because if you pierce the plating you can get keyhole rounds. If I keep the load at at moderate velocities with a good taper crimp I should be okay. I'm going to load 12 up that way, measure the COAL prior to shooting with a chrony and then take some data after the first shot- see if any other rounds in the cylinder suffered from walking in the brass (measure COAL on the remaining 5). Run that twice to verify.

Does that sound logical?

I acquired an RDP The "Tool" reloader from a friend's widow. This thing is heavy-duty.

How can I find the value of this? (Tried a search, but came up empty.)

Got LOTS of dies with it...

Best guess on that press is the value is subject to what a collector thinks the worth is. That company is out of business and there are not that many in circulation- so parts would be tough to come by. I'd imagine some machinist/reloader may like it.

Is it the motorized version?

How is everyone's components holding up? I should be good for at least 2 years.

Just bought a comparator too.

I wish I’d kept my reloading equipment. That’s all I gotta say.

At the age of 21 or 22, I think I was a better loader than shooter.
