Oh hell yea. I had a Mod 28 decades back and like a fool sold it to someone far less deserving than I was to have it. Yep, an N frame 357 known as the Highway Patrolman. It was a smoking piece. I'm on board with the HK 91/93 as well. I also had a 93 and kick myself for selling it. I also wouldn't mind seeing SW revive the 745 with a couple modifications. Primarily to the safety allowing cocked and locked carry in a "down to fire" operation rather than the cumbersome up to fire it originally came in. I loved the way mine felt in the hand and it was superb accuracy wise, but I never could figure out why they designed the safety the way they did.
As I think about it there are a few guns I grew up with I'd like to see make a comeback. I still have my first 22 rifle, a Springfield 87A semi auto that will also take S and L and even CB ammo with its optional manual operation. It's a rockin' design that I don't feel is obsolete at all.
I'm in the process of refinishing it wood and metal. The stock is black walnut and a gorgeous piece of wood. They truly don't make em' like that anymore.
I am a Remington-certified 870 armorer and asked my contact with Remington about bringing these back, now that they own Marlin. He said they are still thinking about it.
I would like to see original Lugers back in production, who knows, maybe with CNC equipment they would not cost a mint to make?
One might say that, Mitch, you already have 3 Lugers, that's enough. Well, maybe. But I do like them.
For that matter, I'd like to see the Python back in production. Colt only needs to look at the scalper's prices, to know they could build them and sell them for a handy profit.
