I conceal carry a Kahr ST9, and when I open carry, it's a S&W 6906, or a Ruger P345.

I will be signing up with my local concealed carry permit class shortly.

Thank you for any suggestions from women here on the board, or perhaps from some guys who have helped their wives or girlfriends select a handgun.
1st Contact your local gun range and sign up for a Basic Handgun course. You will get a chance to fire several guns

2nd See if there is a Well Armed Woman Chapter near you. https://twawshootingchapters.org/

Join, there will be plenty of women there who will help you.

Whatever you do, don't buy anything that you haven't fired. See what feels good to you.

3rd Take a Concealed Carry Course

4th Take one or two classes a year. Whatever you can fit into your budget

Cool PX4. I have a compact model, and I've own 3 of the full size models over the years.

I always carry a Glock 19, a 15 Rd mag with 1 in the chamber and a 17 Rd backup mag. I carry IWB in a Stoner leather holster https://www.stonerholsters.com/

MrsM carries either a Glock 43 or her Sig P238

Yes, mine is a full size PX4 too. Funny thing is I got a 40sw barrel for the G29 and those 40sw sure are snappy, worse than the 10mm. I also had a 9x25 Dillon barrel and I can say that it was a very mean 9mm.

Whew!

I've owned two of those previously. Good gun. I just found that I shot the HK P2000 better, and it was the same size.

But, great gun.
