I bought a khar CW380 from an online store on Feb 3. They've charged my credit card but I have not heard back from them after repeated calls and voice mails to get a status. It's now 2 weeks and no updates.

Should I worry?

LockedLoaded.com seems like a well rated store. I'm not sure if I should wait a much longer before disputing that charge.

Not returning voice mails or emails? Is that what you are saying?

If the answer is yes, dispute it. If it shows up at your FFL, pay it again when billed.

That’s pretty poor & slow service. The four online gun stores i’ve bought from have all shipped my orders within a week.

Have read on the Kahrtalk forum that those tiny CW380 pistols can be finicky with some ammo. My Kahr CT380 (a little bit larger than the CW) runs everything except WWB.

My CW45, CW9, and PM9 all run just fine. All are nice reliable guns.

Hope you like yours if & when you get it.

I would have disputed the charge but these guns are usually sold out and this one was a black ceracote . I'm going to try contacting someone during the week and dispute before the cc bill is due if I can't get traction.

Found the contact for a manager at the store on the interweb.

Companies that do that, charge credit cards before a product is shipped, really P me off. If this is a public company per accounting laws they are potentially violating a number of accounting practices. It's probably on backorder and you could be waiting weeks, maybe months...clearly unethical to charge you.
Charge them back.

It took about 3.5 weeks. I managed to get hold of someone today after calling their sales number instead of the customer service number and finally someone picked up.

She informed me that my gun had shipped and was due to be delivered to my FFL today (surprise surprise surprise)

I asked her politely for the tracking number and 2 hours later had my gun in hand.

Hardly seems worth it after this unpleasant experience, is it?

eh. I'm happy to have the gun, but have learned to check vendors out before purchasing.

When I submitted a google review for that store I found a number of similar experiences to mine.

Hope the little gun was worth the wait.
If you encounter any problems during its break in period, just post on the Kahrtalk forum. Several members there know as much about the product as the factory and can help resolve any issues if they come up.

Yes, I would be concerned and stop payment too.
On a side note.
Not surprised, WWB is a really dirty round. I used it quit a bit in many of my pistols, but I dont buy it for target shooting any longer since I spend a ton of time cleaning afterwords.
