My g30 is a flawless operating firearm. Bought used (Carried but not fired) for $350.00. Over 1,500 rounds and not onproblem yet.
The G 30 is the Sig then? Sorry, not a Glock guy, SW KL&N and 1911 are my go to's. As I said, I find the Sig a viable option as a defensive round. It's a flippin'hot rod, but I find it limited by it's own prowess in this area. To me, the .45 is still the best all around handgun round, for my particular applications which are self defense, competition in 3 specific disciplines, and general field use on the ranch. If I were to be choosing a friearm to carry into a combat zone, and ammo availability was not a factor, I would seriously look at the .357 Sig (hello H&K can you cut me an MP5 in this round? and I would not be turned off by the idea of an AR platform either) pistol wise, a Glock in this caliber to team with the latter would be just fine with me as well. As it stands, I have my 25-5 and my Marlin 1894 as a rifle/handgun team being as my most prevelant enemy is feral dogs and prowling yotes, and the occasional two legged varmint that wanders in off the nearby highway. Had one last week. Caught him casing my shop building and eyeballing one of my trucks. Reminds me of the 70's around here, we had a LOT of transients back then as well. Sign of the times methinks.

g30 is a glock. no sigs, can't afford a gun that doesn't shoot any better than my glock
and like i just said in another thread .45acp because i dont want to shoot twice
My next purchase will be a G-34 9MM as a competition handgun for me. They perform very well and my buddy has one that I really like. That one will be number 13 in Rugged's Glock collection! I know, I need help guys!LOL..........
