does anyone know the worth of colt lightning 32 cal.pump ser.74326 no bluing left on barrel but free from rust. minor scratches on barrel, lots of scratches and dings on stock.
$300 to $3000. Depends on condition and desirability. Tauras was making the Lightning in .357 and .45 lc until lately.
I was at the recent gun show looking for a couple pump .22's, only found Winchesters from $600 to $2000. The $600 were in poor shape but shootable. I did find a Tauras in .17 for $300, wish now I bought it.

This is an original Colt 32, probably 32 rimfire? Condition sounds like fair at best to me, you can check a gun value blue book at a library or book store, or you could break down and buy the blue book if you are going to be trading much.
Value of any collector gun goes way down with condition, and it goes down even more if you refinish them.

There are a couple of Lightning's in the book - listing shows a Medium frame - 24" bbl in 32-20 - 10% condition $450 - 30% $550 - older book.
20" bbl 10% condition $950 30% $1175
There's a lightened version also that's worth more
So take it to someone and get it checked out for a fair value, know which one it is. Try Colt's web site.
I would certainly research the history of the gun. Could be it was used by some famous (or infamous) type which would increase value some. At any rate, an original Lightning is a nice collectors item if one likes the period. I had one of the Taurus repros in .45 Colt, and liked it, but traded it for a Marlin 94 in the same chambering.
I'd check some of the auction sites like Gunbroker, Auctionarms and GunsAmericia .
Do an advanced search and check completed auctions, then you'll have a good idea of what your rifle is actuall selling for.
Good chance the OP never read even one reply, one post wonder
