When I had short hair people would call me "sir". HAHAHA. I prefer long hair because one can do more with it (and I like the idea of being flexible to have a ponytail or updos), but I don't think any less of women with very short hair. It is practical and very chic. Sometimes when the woman has a manly look, shorter hair can make you wonder if she is a lesbian. But it's not really because of the hair itself... rather that the woman had manly facial features to begin with.

A girl I've been dating just cut her beautiful wavy long hair short. Long hair looks better on the vast majority of women I've seen.

I got an asymmetrical haircut a little while ago, and it is quite interesting..I get lots of comments. It's real fun, and most people tell me it suits my quirky personality. At the end of the summer I'll do something different. I have cut my hair short a few times, and I've been annoyed at how much I have had to babysit it. I found that the men I have dated seem to prefer mid-length hair and they really seem to like blonde streaked hair. Last winter I changed my hair back to it's natural brunette and I received so many negative comments at work that it was unreal......such a big deal over hair!!
