Default Cold water rinse for thinning hair?

I've read that rinsing your hair with cold water after shampooing will make it shiny but I thought I also read somewhere that it helps with hair loss.
I've started rinsing with cold water, not a pleasant experience, and I don't even know if it will help....

Cold water? Hmmmm.....NO! That's the last thing you want to visit upon your scalp!!!!!

Cold water will restrict blood flow to the hair follicles and starve the hair root causing it to die early.

IMO the best regimen to wash thinning hair is to wash your hair with baby shampoo (THE gentlest shampoo around) and WARM WATER not hot nor cold just like you would a baby's hair.

Remember, in spite of what all the ads say all you want to do is clean the dirt off your hair and leave some oils behind to protect the hair. Only baby shampoo will do that.

Thanks for the information....I really dislike the feeling of cold water and was only trying to prevent hair loss, and I don't need my hair to be more "shiny" so that's no reason to do it....

They do claim that the less you mess with your hair, the better. Wash only when necessary, limit combing and brushing, etc. and no tight hair additions like ponytail bands, hats, etc. Also, eat healthy as it does make a difference.
