Every morning I curl my hair and it looks great...but a few hours later the curls fall out. I've tried spraying it, curling it longer...what am I missing? Is there any way to curl my hair and have it look all day the way it looks when I first do it?

My hair will curl just fine, but humidity makes the curl fall out.
I find if I curl it (electric curlers) as soon as it's dry....not still wet, and not HOURS after drying, it will retain the curl MUCH longer than normal. I've tried hairspray, too, but it doesn't help...my hair apparently attracts humidity! I have too much hair for a curling iron...it would take all day, but the electric curlers do the job! Leave them in longer for tighter curls and don't comb or ESPECIALLY brush until the hair is totally cool....brushing will pull the curl out, use a comb!

I have pin straight hair that refuses to curl. After many you tube / pinterest tutorials I've seen they all say to curl it, then pin it up to allow the curl to set.

I've yet to master curling my hair and having it look good, lol. That's the tomboy in me I suppose.
