My hair dresser has never really raised what she charges me in over 15 years!
She's a one woman shop, no prices listed.
I have real almost waist-length hair, that is permed. (It's definitely below the bottom of my shoulder blades, headed to my waist.)
I've just sort of raised what I give her on my own about every five years. I feel guilty...I just don't feel right paying what I paid 15 years ago. That's just not right. But she's never really said '' I have to charge you xx.xx.")
So now I pay her 70.00 (for the touch up, wash, dry, and style). I go about every 2-and-a-half months.
I am picky about who does my hair. She is the only person who does my whole appointment: touch up wash, rinse, everything. (While I'm under the dryer she'll work on someone else, then come back to me later.)
I have friends who have shorter hair than mine and pay 100.00 or more.

I pay 25-65. It's 25 because its half of my hair because I wear weave. But when I had my real hair it was 40 but when I went to another salon in colleg for a short while it was about 65
