<3 my Sedu styling iron. I was in a pinch once, (traveling and I left my Sedu at home) so I thought I'd try out a cheapo Sephora brand flat iron. After the 1st use, I had to return it. It took more than one pass to get my hair straight (I have slightly frizzy loose wavy hair) and left it staticky.
[quote=Wry_Martini;29566194]I need a new flatiron, I lost mine in a recent move.
I've had a Chi before and I loved it, but I don't want to spend that much money if it can be avoided. I don't flat iron my hair daily, maybe once every week or two, so I'm a bit less concerned about having the very best one possible.[/QUOTE
I would always go with a professional one even though it is more expensive. I bought my daughter a Karmin G3 Salon Pro hair straightener which is the Rolls Royce model and my hairdresser the Karmin Titanium straightener (we barter, I buy her stuff and she does my hair for free for x number of times) and the Karmin G3 Salon Pro curling iron for myself. All their products can be verified to make sure they are not counterfeit and they all carry a 3 year manufacturers warranty and a 90 day money back guarantee. Make sure you only purchase a product that has this type of guarantee.
I just got to bump this - you must check out Karmin's Salon Series hair straightener.
