I am not sure if it is the hair, the yellowing teeth or the shoulder pads in the blazer she has on....she definitly could update her look and take 10 years (and 10 LBS) off with a cute cut. Layers, take some length off...something.

Picture her on a Sunday morning with nowhere to go...

I'm sure a lot of younger than 60 year old women wouldn't mind looking like Stevie Nicks.

Why do you think cutting is the answer to everything???

I actually like running my hands through her better now than before. You can pat it and it magically springs back and I can run my fingers through it now and the natural hair's a lot stronger so she doesn't yell at me about "breaking off" the weakened relaxed hair. It's like a beautiful fuzzy black nerf ball - very groovy. She was thinking about going back but with Michael Jackson's death she thinks they will become more popular and mainstream (seeing all the piccies of the "young, black, male Michael).
Cool!!!
I have curly hair, so it's not long and straight, and I have some layers in it, so it's not an A-frame.
Her hair sounds great, and it's all about what looks nice on someone!

You are too critical, and the comments about Stevie Nicks are uncalled for. No one is perfect, and most people are doing their best.

How does she look dated?

I see younger girls wearing their hair just like her all the time!!

She is too old to wear her hair like young girls. That is my point.

I am not critical. I am stating my opinion. I have been in the cosmetology field for awhile...and know how to update a persons look in 20 mins. A new style of hair Can take years and poundage off of a person. I am not saying get the menopause cut. I am saying ditch the 20 year old hair do, she can't pull it off anymore. She can look better. Thats all. She has a pretty face, no need to hide behind that hair. She needs to show off what works for her, that would be her facial skin and her face itself.

Age can be a state of mind, if you feel young go for it. I will never cut my long hair. Wont get the Crystal Gayle look going, but long enough.

NO-that is not your point-that is your opinion. Stevie Nicks would look like crap with short/shorter hair.....IMO.
Short hair does not look good on a LOT of people.
It doesn't look good on me. Or I don't look good with short hair. Either way......no matter what age I am-that is not going to change.
In fact a lot of women who are sporting short hair,in MHO, should let it grow a bit because it is not flattering on everyone.
On some women, short hair makes them look like a dyke.
No one is hiding beneath hair that is long. We are embracing it!! Long, flowing hair is awesome! Try it-you might love it too.

yea, that is way too long!! Washing combing and not to mention having it your way!!!

And I agree, Stevie Nicks would look bad with short hair. I do want the thickness of her hair.
