I want to start straightening my hair more regularly, and I want to buy a good flat iron.
My sister has the Herstyler that she bought from the mall, and I really like the pure ceramic plates.

Are there any affordable pure ceramic flat irons? Has anyone ever heard of the Andis e.logica Ceramic Flat Iron? I was researching it (you can see it here: Andis - Andis e.logica Ceramic Flat Iron).
I can't find many reviews on it, so I'm wondering if it's any good. It's cheap and it supposedly has 100% ceramic plates.

Do you have any other recommendations?

My stylist suggests the Chi flat iron. When ever she cuts my hair, she always flat irons it first with the Chi. She never uses a heat protectant and my hair feels like and looks like glossy silk.

Just got a Paul Mitchell Neuro Smooth for a gift and I LOVE it!

It is amazing, best flat iron I have ever used. Much better than Chi, IMO.

My sister is HUGE into her hair and having the perfect flat iron. I believe she bought a Cortex flat iron from smoppers.com or she went to their ebay store? I don't recall which but she loves the flat iron and the quality is really good too.

Have a look at the one I bought for my daughter - a Karmin G3 Salon Pro Hair Styling Iron, it has 100% Pure Tourmaline Ceramic plates. You should watch the review on their website. The G3 flips, curls as well as straightens. It is light and goes everywhere with Samantha.
