(The silent majority who would be turned off by having someone who has tattoos all over their face and neck make a big difference.)
uuummmmm... based on the response to this thread, I'd say you are the minority, not the majority. If the majority take their business elsewhere, the "problem" will take care of itself.

I don't have to have a stylist with hair/style i like in order to get a great haircut. I do expect an experienced stylist who will listen to me and take my hair's quirks into consideration. The best hairstyle i ever got was from a male with a buzz cut. ( I have long layered hair.)

I don't think I've seen a stylist WITHOUT tattoos in years. Or anyone under 30.

Im still trying to figure out what having tats/piercing has to do with YOUR hair? Who gives a hoot!

It makes sense for an office to not hire her for her tattoos. The type of people who get tattoos and wear crazy hairstyles are the hairstylists. I really can't get it through my head how you're so dense that you don't get it?

She's not working in an office, she would likely not be hired by most office jobs because of her tattoos.. however to be creative and trendy is actually a plus in the fashion/beauty world.

There is nothing trendy about half of your face and neck covered in large tattoos, but just spooky and weird. See woman on the left in this linked picture. The lady at the salon looked worse than her.

How exactly does it mean they're not qualified to do traditional hairstyles?

Right now, at this very moment, you need to pause and give thanks to God and the Universe that you have so few real problems in your life.
