I know it was time -- unless she wanted to put it up in an "old lady bun" -- but I kind of think it ruined her. Now she looks very ordinary, like anyone else. Wonder if she regrets it?

I do have to somewhat agree. BUT - I am wondering if some of it was actually extensions these days, with celebrities you just can't tell. Possibly her natural hair may have been thinning and damaged. Christie Brinkley wears extensions because of this and has her own line. While Jerry may look more "ordinary", she is still beautiful and the cut was a good compromise for her I think.
Or... Extensions! You can never tell if it's real or not these days, which is another reason not to bother with your own long hair, LOL. I'd agree that Hall didn't go far enough; if I were cutting off super-long hair, I'd go super-short for contrast. Now it's long, but not AS long. She no doubt got whatever cut Forbes told her to, as that's the reason she did it, supposedly.
If I'm still working when I finally cut mine, it'll be a chin-length bob. If not and I'm retired and free, I may just get a buzz-cut,,, Man, that would feel SO good after messing with this 4' mane for so many years...
About time!!! She could go a little more shorter, in my opinion.
I was excited when Pam Anderson went really short about 4 years ago. She looked so much better too! But she's obviously grew it out since (damn!)....
Pam got extensions almost immediately after cutting it, her real hair is awful so that is what you are seeing. Most celebs with "long hair" these days it's fake.....
